Blog Post #5 MODULE 6: Mobile Devices

Today, a Mobile Device is considered an extension of yourself.  In order to stay relevant, it is becoming a necessity to learn new ways incorporate them into your career area or classroom.

Mobile Device Apps can help you get important information across to your business or students.  Google Maps is an important Mobile Device App that helps people find your business, leave reviews, and also shop.  I would incorporate Google Maps into my business and use it to market my business.

One challenge people should be considered is not everyone knows how to use mobile device apps.  Also, there are always potential issues with privacy protection and data breaches if you use the app for processing payments.  It's important to set up extra layers of protection against viruses, spam and other potential threats.

It's important to know the policies and procedures of your school district or workplace regarding their use because they might prohibit the use of mobile devices during school/business hours or there might be a breach of privacy.
