Blog Post #3 Module 4: Desktop Publishing

Welcome back to my blog!  This module we focused on Desktop Publishing.  We created flyers, brochures, and newsletters with Microsoft Word and worked with Microsoft Sway.

Microsoft Sway is similar to PowerPoint but offers a scrolling motion like a webpage. One way that Microsoft Sway would be implemented in my career is to tell a digital story for marketing a business or event.  

One challenge to consider when implementing your technology tools is knowing your audience. What will capture their attention and appeal to their senses. 

Some other challenges I faced was limited design capabilities of Microsoft Sway.  Certain aspects would have worked better if I could have more movement with the content and stronger ability to edit inside the program.
